Manik Nerf Bars

There was a thread some time ago asking for some pictures of some Manik nerf bars. I ordered mine almost three months ago and they finally came in today. I believe it was worth the wait. The retailer I bought them from had not installed Maniks on a SCrew before but were very impressed with them. Just go to the gallery below.

Please pretend that the truck is clean. Judging by the weather forecast, it will be a few days before it will get washed. I took the pictures in the garage since it already dark outside. The true color of the bars don't quite come out (neighbor's cheap camera!), but they are polished stainless.

Hey Ginos150,
Glad you finally got them. I ordered some and waited for over a month and then bought something else. Yours look very nice. Are they strong and are they frame or body mount?

Sorry Ginos, that last one should have been addressed to RDH.

They are mounted on the body (no drilling required). I didn't install them myself but it took the guy at a local shop a little under 30 minutes to do it, and he is not exactly the brightest bulb on the planet. They seem to be plenty sturdy. You can find installation instructions at http://www.manik4x4.com/support/inst...s/I332354T.pdf I bought mine installed for $380 plus tax. I saw them recently on truckaddons.com for $331 plus shipping. They didn't used to be that cheap. Whether they have them in stock or not is the million dollar question.

RDH,

They look nice. I have been eyeing them for awhile. Care to comment on functionality? eg are they far enough from the body to be useful when getting out?

Same bars I have - GREAT!

Nice choice! I've had mine on for a little over a year now, and they are nice bars. very sturdy and can take a beating....well mine did

had a little 'accident' where the right side bar got pushed up to the door, the bracket mount was bent backwards and up. Took it off and with the use of a torch and a BFH, it was straight again. back on in no time, and looks no different.

Great bars, I recommend em to anyone...the size and diameter look nice on the Screws.
