Alignment under warrenty for first 12000 miles

I asked one of my friends who used to work for a Ford dealer and yes the alignment is covered under the 2/12,000 warrenty. Now he did mention that the dealers are kinda cheap about this where they don't get much money from Ford for warrenty work (thanks Nasser) so if it looks like you have been offroading or have scrapes on the side of the tires from hitting curbs then they may not do the work.

Basically anything on the truck from NORMAL wear and tear is under warrenty for the first 2 years or 12,000 miles, and then other stuff is covered for an additional period of time. I don't think they would redo the alignment if you just torqued up the front torsion bars...

I am going to ask my dealer to check mine since I cranked up the torsion bars. I am not going to tell them that though. I am just going to tell them it pulls to the right a little. Well, it does, at least I think it does. It could just be my imagination.

My dealer is really good about doing the first alignment under warranty. In fact, the service writer I go to is the one who told me about it.

Is it 2/12 now? It's always been 1/12. Are the '02s given an extra year now?
