Talking keypad install on a xlt

I just installed the keypad and the new door handle on my 2001 Crew. I followed several other posts on this site and it made install very easy. Total time was only 1 hour and I am by no means mechanically inclined. I really like this feature during winter time as I can now start up my truck and lock the doors and let it warm up and then just hit the keypad, the remote will not work while he engine is running. Overall a very easy install and cheap as well, total about $100 with taxes.

I did the same thing, but mine took about two and a half hours,
Well that was because I had to come back in and turn the old
computer on a few times, One I saw the pictures and could find
the two holes in the upper door for he harnes. every thing else
went great. I also have a remote starter. Now that along with
the key pad is BOSS at 5:30 am and 25 outside....Love this site.
