The piece I'm talking about is the one that run's from from left to right and is mounted to the dash not the steering column. I want to mount a switch to it for back up light's. Does anyone know how to get this off properly. I pulled on it a little but don't want to break it. Sorry to post this in the Supercrew catagory but I did'nt know where else to put it.

Anyone have pic's of a switch in that location ?

that part just snaps in. Start at a corner and kinda work your way around pulling out.

another place for a switch that I liked can be seen in the picture. I got an oval switch similar in size to the brake pedal adjuster and put it next to it.
