Hey LINYScrew,

I'm not certain but if you call your dealership and they cannot help you then I doubt anyone else would be able to either. Your dealership should be able to track the truck's where abouts as good as anyone. I know that this is probably not very comforting but that's all I know to tell you. Maybe some other members can give you some better sources to check.

I've only ordered one new F-150 and it was my '00 Scab. It was delivered on time or very near so and I never new the exact day it was going to be there. I just remember that it came within a few days of the original delivery estimate.

Your dealer will not want to keep your KR any longer that necessary so rest assured they will call you as soon as it comes in, they want their money as fast as they can get it.

Good luck and I'm sure the others can't wait to see it too!

Hey there LinyScrew, Showya here in Kansas City, have you got the VIN # yet? I am a Launch team member here in Kansas City and I can answer this for you, nothing will be built until next Wednesday for sure because the plant is closed for the holidays.

Drop me an email with your VIN and I will look it up when I go in Wednesday, I can track it all the way until it leave the plant.

I tracked my 2000 Super Duty from the day I ordered it all the way to the day it arrived at the dealer. Ford has a system called VOPC. If you have the 800 number, the dealer code and the VIN, you can follow the progress of a vehicle until the day it is released from the factory. Ford requested that individuals discontinue calling VOPC, and that only dealers call.

Once it is released from the plant, if your truck is being shipped by rail, you can get the rail car number from your dealer. Log on to the railroads web site, enter the rail car number and it will tell you the last location and time the rail car passed through one of the sensors.

I located my truck while it was in the Kansas City mixing yard, then watched it as it made it's way through WY, UT, NV and finally into CA. Then I got on the phone and called Hadley Auto Transport to get a delivery date from them.

It was a really cool experience.

Showya, thanks. I must have written the vin down wrong(too many characters in vin) so I will be in touch when I get the correct vin #

Thanks again guys.
