what air pressure are you using?
I have a supercrew with 17" Goodyears and am interested to know what air pressure others are using. Looking at the sticker in the front driver door it appears to indicate 30lbs in the front and 35lbs in the rear. 1st, am I reading this correctly? 2nd, are you using different settings and why?

Hey mbrim,
It depends on the brand, size, load rating and other factors and not just the manufacturer. I've got Goodyears too but they are AT/Ss and they have a C load rating and have a max pressure recommendation of 50psi written on the sidewalls. I got the tires after purchase so the sticker in the door jamb is no good for tire pressures now. I run 35 psi in front and rear unless I'm loaded up and then I inflate to what carries the load best but not over 50psi.
Good luck

I have the Good Year 17s as well and run mine at 42 all around. The minimum is what is indicated on the sticker. You gas mileage will go up a bit if your pressure is higer, but you will not have as much traction and the ride will be a bit stiffer. 38-42 is where you may want to try to set your pressure and play with it there. Some set theres as high as 44. Too much presure (to a point) is better than not enough as far as saftey and tire wear goes.
