"Ford OEM" mud flaps

Has anyone got these from ford and did the install themselves???? How easy, and more importantly, how good does it look, Does it work well with the fender flairs????

Thank You AGAIN!!!!

Thumbs down

I did install the molded OEM flaps after not being able to get the Husky flaps for the front to accomodate the factory running boards. I'd say try to get the Husky's.

Easy to install, but the rears didn't come with a long enough press in fitting, I was able to save one, but one broke upon removal.

I also hear they're smaller than the Husky's. Personally, I'd consider non-molded next time....

I ordered and installed the Ford OEM front and rear guards also. The fronts fit well over the fender flairs and do a pretty good job of keeping the junk off of the running boards.

I had the same problem as 10TH_ANNIV_T2 did. The 2 push pins that go underneath are way to short. I used 1/4" bolts and fender washers. They are simple to install. I took the rear wheels off so I could drill straight holes.

The rear guards leave a bit to be desired. I think they are to short and to narrow to do much good. I get a lot of debris splashed up on the body behind the tire. I will probably order a set of Husky splash guards for the rear and toss the Ford guards.

As far as looks.....I think they are OK.

Ditto. Had to get longer pins to install the back. It was not hard, just did not have the right parts. Also the rear do not stop mud from getting on the truck. I would look at Husky before buying the Fords.

Cool

I have the husky's but the ones(oem) on a 2000 F-150- Supercab look better than mine. I don't know but they just look like they were not made for our trucks (huskys). Just my opinion. Late BD
