INTERIOR Air Filter

I am a new owner of a 2002 screw, and I was reading the owners manual and discovered that SOME models have an INTERIOR Air Filter for the venting system to the interior of the truck.

Where is this located???? I do not know if I have it or not???? If not, is it an easy/worth $$$ investment??? How hard to install and where might I get it???

Love the truck!!!!! Have been in Nissans for 19 years, first full size and LOVING IT!!!! THank you for the help

ALso, on top of the dash, in the center under the rear view mirror, there is a small vent like opening, does anyone know what this is??????

THANKS AGAIN!!

Joey "O"

Wow didn't even know this was an option. I will have to check this out as I have alergies and this might help out a bit, plus it might keep the dust down inside. Now they just need to make a filter that gets that car exaust smell out, from the clunker in front of me.

The vent is likely to let heat out of the dash. There have been problems in the past with too much heat building up (there's a lot of stuff crammed in there!) and causing the in-dash CD player to get too-warm.

Isn't that the sensor for the 'auto' headlamps?
