ladder rack

as far as i know there isn`t a rack made for just the screw. i did how ever go to a shop that makes boat towers and had a nice rack built that goes 1/2 way over the cab weighs less than 55 lbs very easy to take on and off by myself. i will try to post a pic ASAP

There is a Screw here in Akron that has had a ladder rack on it for the last 19 months or so. He got his truck about a week before I got mine, and he's had a bed mounted ladder rack on his truck all but about 2 weeks or so. I don't know who makes it, but it mounts in the bed with extension arms on it that hold the top part of the rack roughly 18" above the cab. The top of the rack extends over the cab and it's only on the one side of the truck. This is not a complete rack! It does look like it will hold at least two good size ladders though!

The ladder racks are made by WeatherGuard. They are called the Weekender's. I use mine all the time and they are great. I will try to get some pictures up as soon as I can. When they get installed, I found that they have to be slightly angled a certain way to make the uprights work and be level. Well almost level. There is a slight difference in the left-to-right positioning, but it really doesnt matter.
The best part of it is that my bed extender still works!

I also meant to say, they straight style are the easiest to use. I have te straights, and a realy good friend has the slanted. With the slanted, the ladder has to be physically lifted up and set on the racks. The straight style you can just lean on the rear post and then lide the ladder up on the racks with out even breaking a sweat!
