Installing Dash Kit

So, do the door trim pieces and radio bezel just snap out? I bought a kit and I'm thinking I may want to fit the pieces on my workbench where it's warmer.

The door trim pieces...ie: door look window switch plates just pop out, pry the front edge up, it snaps out and there is a tab in the back that holds it in. unplug the switches and take it into your work shop. I'm not sure about the radio bezel, i'm thinking its part of the dash itself and to get it off you have to pull the radio, not a bad job if you have the tool or 4 small nails and lots of patients. good luck

To remove the radio bezel from the dash, you need to push or turn the right a/c heater vent inward and gently pull the outer edge towards you very gently. Once you have one side out away from the dash pull the whole bezel out and there you have it. I hope this helps and good luck.

IF YOU HAVE THE INDASH TURN-OFF SWITCH FOR THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG. YOU MUST REMOVE THE KEY FROM IGNITION BEFORE YOU UNPLUG THE SWITCH FROM THE DASH TRIM.

ShowYa in Kansas City, gotta run work on my new billet inserts!

Thanks!

I don't have the airbag keyswitch like my 00 Scab had. If the radio bezel pops off like below, I won't even have to mess with that.

The dask kit I chose was the Sherwood 11pc model, I'll get some pics as I'm doing the installs, and when finished. Then offer some comments 'bout the vendor and kit!

a little tease-- so far, so good....
