Question Wheel Upgrade Question

I have a Ford Supercrew that I am going to put the Ford 18" lightning wheels on there. I was thinking of putting 285/60 -18 tires on these wheels.

However, I am concerned that the tires will be bigger than I want. Does anyone have this size tire on an 18 inch wheel that they can email me a pic? I also am open for suggestions for other tire sizes. I just dont want the original 295/45 on there.

My email address is Stephen.Dudra@Senergy.CC

Thanks,

Stephen

Extosea - I have the exact setup you are talking about - 18" L wheels on 285/60/18 Falken Ziex tires. I will try and get some pics up this weekend. I like the setup. Tires are big enough to fill up the tire wells which looks good. The truck actually set slightly higher than the factory 17" wheels and tires. I little scrubbing when you turn the wheels real tight and drive slow, but not real noticable. If you want more of a low profile look, I would recommend maybe a 265/60/18, but I don't know if this will throw of your speedo and anti-lock brake settings. The thing I do like about my setup is that it keeps my wife from tearing up my wheels on the curbs!!
