What would YOU do?
OK heres' the deal-I wish I could tell you what MY Line-x bedliner looks like, but after getting up early and driving 2 hours, my fine Line-x dealer told me that he was out of the neutral base they use for the color-matched liner. I walked into the place with a $20 in my hand to tip the application guy before he did the job to make sure that he sprayed it on thick. Walked out with the $20 stuffed in my pocket and cursing. The Line-x dealer told me that he would "take care of me" if I came back to have it done there. I told the owner of the place when I made the appointment that I had a new truck, needed a spray-in liner, a hard tonno cover, bug deflector and the other various accessories that you put on a new truck. Not only does this sale hang in the balance ($400), but about $1100 for the other stuff. The next closest dealer is 3 hours away. Here's the question- go back and give these guys a second chance for my business, or the heck with 'em and go to the other place. What would YOU do?
If it was an honest mistake and say he just didn't know he was that low on the base or someone used to much or something that caused him to run out I would probably understand. Then again you drove for two hours and planned to spend lots of money there. I would give him another try but complain just a little bit to see what happens. I mean don't get pissed with the guy just stay calm but express that you were very unhappy, drove out of your way to bring him a lot of business and that if he treats you right you will prbably be back. All I have to say is sometimes people just need that second chance.
I would probably go back for the liner, at least. If he is true to his word, you will get a great liner without the tip and you should be able to make an evaluation.
Everybody makes mistakes, the key is, admitting it and how the the mistakes are handled........ give it a chance.....

I would go with the bedrug instead of the spray in liner. I have a hard cover and the spray in liner, and now wish I would have known about the bedrug. I am still looking into putting a bedrug on top of the liner. Just my thoughts.
