New Addition to my Family
We just picked up our new baby "screw" last Monday 10/08/01 and found this real nice Forum today . Sorry no pics yet weather hasn't been to good but as soon as it clears up I'll see if I can put one up to show Her off. Later all Happy Posting.

Congrats and welcome. I have one question about the FX4 package. I know it came with "Rancho Branded shocks", but I never got a chance to look underneath one of the FX4's. So my question is this, does it say RANCHO like regular aftermarket shocks, are are they just regular shocks that are painted white. Just wondering the difference between 01 and 02 ORP. Thanks.

I was also curious as to whether they were including 5000's, 9000's or RSX's or if it was all just marketing hype.
Rancho states in a press release that they are "specially designed Rancho shock absorbers" which makes me suspicious knowing how poor the factory OEM ones are from ford.
This same statement goes on to say "Ford’s marketing team is finalizing plans to promote the features and benefits of these specially equipped F-150s and the Rancho brand will be at the forefront of their communications"
Any info would be great!

Looks good, now I know you're all sick of the rain and everything, so send some of that wetness down here to San Diego. My truck still dosen't know what rain feels like. It hasen't rained in San Diego in almost 5 months!!

Hey thanks everyone and yes I love it . I also did purchase it at Porstmouth Ford I think they had 8 or 9 of them the 1st day I went up and a different bunch the next day also had 2 or 3 ranch kings which were the same price but they all had the captains chairs in the back and I wanted bench in the back which they didnt have and they dont really like to order they deal in volume. They all either had the tv package or the moonroof package they were all pretty much loaded.
