Question How do you loose the arm rests

I installed a 2000 Expy console last winter in my Gen I SCrew. I would now like to get rid on the arm rests on my bucket seats, can't use them with the Expy console anyway, and put some new Wet Okole's. Anyone of you done this mod yet?

Arm rests

i put the expedition console in my screw a few weeks ago and had to remove the armrests to fit the console in i have the leather captains on the armrest back there is some velcro where the leather (vinyl) overlaps all you do is pulll back the flap and there is a large torx screw one wierd thing only on the drivers side there is a cable attached to the arm rest and you have to horse it a little to get it off it is pretty straight forward i am now working on covering the hole that is left in the place of the arm rest
hope this helps

In what Gen did they change the captains chairs to not having arm rests? I have the leather Capt. chairs with no arm rests,
it was born on 08-08-2001.

Does the center console come in different widths on the SCREWS?

I want to get the "stop" pin out of the seat so I can put in a middle seat. Any ideas? Do I just have to cut it off?

None of the Supercrews should have come with armrests, unless the original seats have been changed out for something else.

Early Gen 1's had armrests from the factory. Mine was built 6/2000.
I have armrests.
