Stereo Auto Sound Leveler vs Factory Speed Sensitivity
Hey guyz,
Just for those thinking of an aftermarket Head Unit, my Pioneer DEH P930 (not real cheap tho) come with ASL...automatic sound leveler as they call it. When ambient noise in the cab gets high, it boosts the volume accordingly. You can set the sensitivity of this feature real nice. This works much better than the factory speed sensitive feature, since it only boosts the volume when road noise is present, not just because you are going faster.
Just some food for thought for those thinking of upgrading the head unit..you will be pleased you did...
