X-Plan Plus Rebates Question

Received my EAA membership and Ford Partner PIN number. Very easy process. Took 2-3 days after applying to receive everything.

My question is: does anyone know what rebates are applied after an X-Plan purchase. I assume the current $1,500 but I have read there maybe a second rebate of $750 or some other amount.

Also: Every dealer so far has agreed to sell X-Plan. About 6-8 dealers.

TIA

There are sometimes additional x-plan only rebates (yes, you get any and all regular rebates) but at least one guy on here posted that his dealer "forgot" to give it to him. I posted the rebate code from my deal...he made some calls and got the extra $750. The number is in one of my posts somewhere on here (I'll let you search if you want it), although it may not be valid anymore.

What is X-Plan?

I'm sorry for being so dumb but can you tell me what x-plan is? Is it something anyone can get?

If you do a search of this forum for "x-plan", you will learn more than I could possibly tell you in a post.

Briefly: x-plan is a discount price given to certain suppliers and organizations by Ford. The price is exactly 4% more than A-plan, which is the Ford employee price. X-plan usually works out to maybe 1% under invoice price, however it is not calculated on that basis.

It does not change rebates at all...you still get them, plus there are at times additional rebates for x-plan people only.

I get it through my job and it is a great deal, some here talk about joining EAA (which you can also search for and learn a ton, most of the x-plan threads here end up listing the link for EAA, I don't know what it is), which is an aircraft enthusiast group. It cost $40 and qualifies you for x-plan. Each qualifying organization has a code which gets their people into a website called fordpartner.com and once in you sign up for a personal PIN number which you take to the dealer and away you go.

geeze....maybe you don't need to search after all....

Hey logical,

I think this rhymes, x-plan logical man. I think you are slowly becoming the x plan guru but that's okay with me. Maybe Ford, or EAA even should give you some kind of commission for each person that gets their membership after visiting messages that you have replied to in reference to x-plan.

I think I heard of x-plan from you first as well. Keep up the helping hand as most really appreciate someone taking the time to explain things.

Hey Mkimbro,
I just signed up on EAA to get the X-Plan and it worked great. I signed up on Saturday and by Tuesday I had my printed x-plan in my hand. Friend of mine bought an '01 Lighting through x-plan that he learned about on f150online.com You might find some more info in the Lighting forums. ( I don't know if the searches do all the forum's threads)

Works great because you don't have to haggle on the price. I just have to haggle on my trade, which sucks big fat booty.
