Question Rollnlock covers....

Where is the best place to purchase one? My local shop wanted like $800 for one.....yeah right. I heard someone getting one for around $480-500. Is this true? Also, those who have one....how do you like it? Does it seem to drain the water good? TIA!

We've been talking about this in the bedliner section.

I have the PE Roll Top cover with lock. Love it, doesn't leak, but it will narrow the width on your bed about 6 to 8 inches because the tray that the rolltop slides in hangs into the bed from the bedcap.

All in all, nice hardware, no leaks, good drainage and nice fit and finish.

I got mine installed for $695 and that includes 2 hours of labor at $60 an hour, so you are definitely in the ballpark.

Anymore questions, check the bedliner section and ask away here.

I purchased one for $795 installed. This was the cheapest I could find in this area.

I am very happy with it. However, it is not waterproof. It leaks in three places. Two are the ends of the tailgate where I believe the water comes in the gap between the tailgate and the bedside. Installing a tailgate seal may fix this problem. The other leak is where the lock goes through the cover. The amount of water is minimal. For example, there was only 3 or 4 ounces of water which leaked in after a heavy downpour which lasted a couple of hours.

If I were to buy a bedcover again, I would get another RollNLock.

Very nice, it does take up a lot of space on the sides though. I assume you can still use the bed extender though.

Now the box at the end has hoses that will drain the water out of the bed correct? So if you were to seal the back up all the water would drain off the top.

DCovell,

It takes up a fair amount of space on the sides though not what I would consider a lot. You can semi-use a bed extender, but there is a limitation to it. You cannot flip it back into the bed. You have to disconnect and then spin it around.

I discovered this yesterday when I received my Steel Horse bed extender. It was very disappointing to find out. I decided I didn't want the trouble of disconnecting the bed extender to put it back into the bed as that would defeat its flipping back into the bed purpose for me. As a result I am sending it back for refund.

For now I am going to get a couple of Steel Horse stabilizer bars to go across the bed inside so that if I have something in the bed near the tailgate, it won't slide around. They sell a net attachment for it as well.

Yes, the box you see has hoses off of each corner that drain out the front plugs and are silicone sealed and yes all the water would drain off the top into those hoses.

Anymore questions, please ask and check my gallery for my photo angles of it.
