The 02 Headlights

I have not seen the 02 SCrew's yet, but I just saw a load of 02 F250s and F350s and they all had the new headlights that look like the 01L Headlights.
Do not know if they are available for the SCrews or other rides as an option, but they sure look nice.
Later

I would like to know if the 2002 has the Lightning headlights as well. Any pics of your new truck? Mine is to be built today and arrive in another two weeks!

Thanks!

TroyK,

My 99 Lariat has the 2" radiator. Built in KC in November of '98.

i was talking specifically about supercrews...i don't think any of those trucks were ever delivered from the factory with anything other than the smaller radiator.

Hey Troy,

Long time no talk. Hows that waiting thing going?

Did you mean smaller radiator or bigger one? Just thought you might have gotten that wrong, or am I the one wrapped around the axle and just missed something?

Did you see my questions about the KR back seats lately? About putting the extra bucket seat in-lou-of the rear bench seat that the '02s are available with?

Thanks,

DaveMan

sittin' on pins and needles waitin' for my truck! just kiddin"! haven't heard anything from my salesman since he called with the build date. i hope that date doesn't slip due to parts shortages. but, s-crews are built in kansas city so hopefully the canadian border issues won't affect it??

i re-read my previous post and it makes sense to me. i guess i should have just said that from what i can tell, all s-crews whether they contained the tow package or not were delivered from the factory with the 1.02" radiator. does that make more sense?

as for your ideas about the rear seat...sounds like a big hassle to me. but if you are willing to tackle that job, more power to ya!

Okay Troy, I see now, I thought you were thinking '99 when you said "those" but you meant the screws. I think you are probably right but only Ford knows that answer for sure, don't you think?

As for the seats, I guess I'm just asking for it, heh? I'm just trying to see if I can save some bucks with the left over '01s and make that damn back seat practical. With the 3% lower interest rate and plus get the holdback money I'm really thinking now, can I make this seat mod work?

Also, what type of internet access do you have. Seems you and logical come and go just like the wind.

Troy, same here, cable for a while until something faster comes along. I leave mine on 24-7, just go from one site to another but anymore seems like the forum is consuming me. I guess I need to get a life, or a screw, the latter sounds better don't you think?

For the lights, I hope so. The superduties get them, the explorers and escapes. Lets hope the F150 does not get left out! I cannot tell in the pictures I have seen of the '02 yets. Too far away.

I bought a screw at the end of July w/ 5.4, 4x4, auto, trailer tow. With 800 miles on the odometer Aug. 21 the wife and I hooked up to my parents 24 ft camper (approx 5,000#) and headed for Yellowstone from WI. I ran 70 MPH on the interstate and never had the temp guage move. In Wyoming we went through a pass that was listed at 96?? ft. I had to run full throttle, sometimes down in 1st at 40 MPH (mostly 2nd, though). The temp guage still never moved. I THINK I have the small radiator, but honestly can't see the need for a bigger one.

BTW- 17" ORP wheels, 3.55 LS axle (gives me 2700 RPM@70MPH 3rd gear)
