i can remember that i bought a used bronco to wheel with back about 7 or 8 years ago. i had totaled my last wheelin truck so . just got it, it was a real beater. tires were balding but still had a little meat on em. so i decided that i was in the mood to wheel. i go in what we call the sand flats, has some burms, a burn out pit, some real tricky spots, a swamp pit, you name it it's in there. along with chopped cars, trucks, burnt ones too. so anyway i'm wheelin and having some fun and i know the terrain pretty well and all of a sudden it hits me, i am in the swamp area. there was snow falling and on the ground so i wasn't paying attention and after all i was having fun. so i look out the window and sure enough i'm right in the swamp but it's all ice at this point, as i am saying i gotta get out this area the truck falls right in. wow that sucked. couldn't get out at all. 4whell hi- lo made no difference. no winch on it, now i am screwed. so i got out and ran over to a friends house and asked him to help me out. it's starting to get dark and i don't wanna leave it there for fear that someone is gonna burn it. he's got a engine in his bronco that's nearly gone and is spitting oil all over.

anyhow him and his dad helped me out, it took like three hours, two tow chains, a winch, and him slamming it in reverse to get me out. i had to give him my engine out of my wreck for that one.
sold that bronco the next day. learned my lesson though. never go wheelin unprepared. you never know what you gonna run into.
