Largest tires on a stock 4x4?
Just curious, what the largest tires I could put on my 2001 SCREW would be. I have the 17" wheels on a stock 4x4. I don't want to lift it at all (don't want to spend the money and worry about future mechanical problems).
If anyone has put on larger tires on there stock 4x4 SCREW and has pictures/details, I would apprciate it...
Thanks

The Pro Comp 33/12.5/17 will fit no problem. There is some question about how well they will wear on a 7.5" rim though.
I swapped the stock 17 rims for some aftermarket rims and wrapped them with Goodyear's Wrangler ATS 33/12.5/16's.
Take a look at the link for some pics.
Good luck!

I installed 305/70/16 and have no problems (see signature below) . As kkirt1 stated the 7.5” rim might be a little to small check out ProComp web site for the minimum rim requirement.
Good Luck!!

i don't know how much money the tires are but i know if you swap out the original's for a different manufacturer they are in the range of $170 a tire.
you can swap out and put a 15 x 10 rim alluminum for 90 bucks a wheel and put 33/1250/15 bfgoodrich all terraion ta's for like 135 a tire. for like 900 you have a complet set up and can still keep the factory stuff.
it's only a couple hundred more. thats what i would do. the rim size doesn't help any as far as strength. it just looks better
