Anyone know when the dealerships are expected to start receiving their 2002 S'Crews?

Also, the dealerships in my area have not received any of their 2002 truck brochures as of yet, so I'm unable to visualize the new color options. Has anyone seen an XLT w/55R package with the new Dark Shadow Grey lower tu-tone and new 5-spoke wheels ?

Sort of yes, sort of no...

I had asked if anyone had seen the new 5-spoke wheels included in the 55R package - which someone was kind enough to post a pic (much appreciated).

Other than that - 'tis a new question.

I'm like you M01, can't wait to see the promotional release of the '02s. "Anticipation is makin me wait" kinda like that ketchup commercial used to portray.....

I have the '02 literature from my dealer and it only shows a breif glimpse of the '02 with the dark grey lower two tone and the new five spokers. I don't think this is news but you just never know.

according to blueovalnews.com, production of '02 supercrews didn't begin until august 20th. so, if this info is correct, you probably won't see any '02 s-crews at your local dealership until the end of september.

 

I noticed some vehicles on the "other" side of the closest dealership today. I stopped in and five of them were 2002 SuperCrews. One was a the FX4 XLT, Toreador Red over dark gray. In my opinion it looked great. I really liked the new wheels. However, I have already ordered a True Blue.

A word of warning to Oklahoma/Texas/Louisiana 4x2 XLT buyers. Three of the five were 4x2 XLT's. They did not have the appearance package that has been standard for quite some time for this region. All three of those had the chrome grill surround and chrome mirrors! My dealer had told me that I would still get the color keyed grill surround and potluck with the chrome or color keyed mirrors. He is supposed to check again. I DO NOT WANT THE CHROME GRILL!!

 

Was at the local Ford dealer today for my 01 Expedition seat belt recall(result-both belts need to be replaced). I walked around the lot and saw a few 2002 F250 SD's and Expeditions. No 2002 Screws yet, should be soon.

 

Got the seatbelts changed out today at Drew Ford in El Cajon and drooled all over a Toreador Red FX4 Screw in the back of the lot that already had a sold sign on it. Didn't see any others though.
