Well, apparently Chevrolet thinks that the ppl who buy their trucks will twist them up around 5200 R.P.M.s. That's where they get the HP numbers they use in advertisements. Ford's advertised HP is at a much lower RPM. Much more "real world".

According to the chart, the tourqe isn't that bad, still not as much as the 5.4 at the lower RPMs.

I have looked at the 4 door version of the RAM and the back doors do look very small... it's almost the same as having just the extended cab.

I alaways get compliments on how much room is in the back of my SCREW, I have sat there myself on a long trip (friend was driving) and almost went to sleep, no problem stretching out my legs.

One time after a very (drinkable) party on new years eve, I folded the seat in the back of my truck flat and brought with me a thermo-rest mattress some blankets and a pillow. Got some great sleep. Had to bend the knees a little as I am 6'4" so the width wasn't there but I had plenty of room to lay out and sleep diagonally. Impossible to do in an extended cab and I don't know about that new Dodge.
