King Ranch mudflaps

Anybody install the King Ranch/Arizona beige mudflaps? Curious how they look versus the normal black mudflaps with the beige running boards........if you can post a picture that would be great.

they are specifically for KR SuperCrew

I found them in the latest (2001) Ford Accessories brochure. They look pretty nice in the brochure, they also have the Arizona beige drop-in bedliner and Snapless Tonneau cover.....

Arizona beige bedliner eh?...sounds cool. I was debating spending a pile of cash to get a spray-in liner color-matched to the chestnut. Black just seemed wrong with the beige railcaps and all.

There isn't an online accessories site is there?

There is clothing and trinkets available on www.icollection.com but no vehicle accessories. The beige bedliner looks really nice, but it's still a drop-in bedliner.........you could probably get Line-X in beige.

I would like to get my hands on one of the Ford accessories brochures you mention. I could really use the mudflaps, and they would look nicer than black. Could someone give me a contact name/address/phone number on the brochure?

Thanks.

I think you have to get it from your dealership. It's an orange brochure labelled '2001 accessories' and covers Ranger, F150, F150 Screw, F-Series SuperDuty, and Econoline.

The fine print inside mentions www.ford.com and www.icollection.com, neither of which offer accessories online....

Where do you get more specific questions answered on the items in here? I am looking at the remote start system and the alarm system and wonder about the compatibility with the special keys and how difficult installation is. Anyone have any experience with these? Any idea how to get these items cheaper than what they are advertised at?

I just ordered KR mud flaps from my dealership. The cost was around $55 per pair. I should have them in about a week.

$55 per pair? So the $35 in the brochure is for one of them? Ouch, kind of steep for a piece of molded plastic.

Kings Ranch Mudflaps

I put the Kings Ranch mudflaps on last weekend. I'll post a couple of pics tomorrow or Thursday. They only come in Arizona Beige and cost me $35 a pair from my local Ford dealership. I opted not to go with the Kings Ranch Tonneau Cover because of the $895.00 PLUS shipping and tx. Same reason on the Arizona Beige colored King's Ranch Bedliner. Just too much $$$ for me. I finally ordered a SnugTop from Redding, CA for $650 and they pay the freight and install for $60 (includes insulation on the bottom side of the lid).

You have to specify FRONT or REAR, as each are made differently.

The mudflaps are easy to install with good instructions and fit around the running boards like they were made for it. The instructions say they are for made for installation only on the King Ranch, but they match up with my 2WD Screw just fine.

I just had the KR mud flaps installed yesterday while my truck was in for possible piston slap.

The mud flaps fit nicely. The front ones seem kind of wimpy considering the running boards provide almost as much protection. The rear flaps seem like they will make a difference.

I paid $55 per pair verus your $35 per pair.

Still no word on the piston slap. The service department verified the noise that my engine is making and is making phone calls into Ford hotline (or something like that) to find out what they should do.
