The whole diff will with maybe a drive shaft mod.

The 9.75 gears will not. A 9.75 has a 9-3/4 inch ring gear, the 8.8 has an 8 7/8 inch ring gear.

If you are talking about trying to put 9.75 gears into an 8.8 diff? You can't.

If you are trying to put a complete 9.75 rear end in then it should pretty much bolt up, but the drive shaft will probably need to change.
