Question Expy Grill on SCrew?

I was wondering if anyone knew if a 2001 expy grill will fit a 2001 SCrew without any modifications.

I would like to replace the monocolor white grill on the 4x4 SCrew with the chome version that comes on the 2wd Expys. I'm also looking to replace the monocholor side mirror caps with chome, but I'm sure they're standard across the entire f150/expy line.

Thanks for your help.

Expy Grille transfer

The two grilles are interchangable. I looked at a Screw for sale this morning and it had the chrome bar grille. If I buy it that is history. I will probably go with a Lightning grille in monochrome. The mirror caps from a 2001 XLT Screw will provide you with chrome. Good luck!

From my experience the two grills are not directly interchangeable. I did this mod and had to shave a couple of sections off the expy insert as well as four tabs on the Screw surround, but the end result looks good.
You can see the steps pictured at

Here is the end result

Oops, after re-reading your post it sounds like you are talking about the whole surround. My mod was a swap of the grille insert only, sorry.

I want one too!

I've been looking locally for an Expy grill insert for two years.

I also want to swap out my chrome mirror covers for the unpainted black covers.

Can anyone in s.e. Michigan help me out?
