Aircompressor/airhorn
Aircompressor/airhorn
I am ordering an aircompressor for my screw. It's about foot and half long and 6 or 8 inches wide. I am putting it in my tool box in the bed. It comes with 25 feet of air hose and guages. I can let air out of the tires to offroad and then have 125PSI on demand to fill them back up for the highway. I will be able to use it to clean too. One of the main reasons I dicided to buy it was to supply air to the airhorn im buying with it. I am getting 140 DB airhorn which is atleast equal to a semi truck horn. The horn in the screw is really weak. Half the time you press on it no one even looks over and notices it. I am planing to put the horns behind the front license plate where people put wenches. I will let you know how it turns out

Here is where I mounted mine. I think it's the same place that you are thinking of. I used a piece of angle iron and made up a mount.

Here are some MPEG's of my horn and exhaust.

Geez, I wish I had a truck that could store wenches. My fiance would probably kill me though- she only lets me put winches behind license plates
