Sorry to hear about all the bad rear end experiences! My KR 4x4 and I got tagged at the end of March but the woman was going pretty slowly and didn't even move the hitch at all - she scratched the bottom of the hitch, but that's it. I took it to the dealer and they said not a thing, not even the bolts had budged. Meantime, the front end of her escort was pretty caved in...

Well, I finally got my baby back!!!!
Wooooohooooo. I sure did miss driving this awesome piece of machinery.

Total bill was a tad over $4600. What a shame. Anyway it is back to new again.

Heh...I get my bumper in a week...I had an 'altercation' with a hundred year old oak tree stump...stump won. Just got my exhaust replaced today, and I'll put the bumper on next Tuesday.

I keep hearing about folks that get hit by uninsured drivers. Seems like the victims always have to pay for the damage themselves. I would like the state to sieze any vehicle that causes a wreck and is uninsured. That vehicle could be sold at auction and the proceeds used to pay off the victim's expenses first and any remainder going back to the original owner. This would serve three purposes - 1)compensate the victim, 2)punish the uninsured, 3)remove an uninsured car from the road. What do you think?
