Question Best shocks for 4x4 SCrew?

I only have about 500 miles on my SCrew now but I find the ride a bit bouncy over rougher surfaces.

Anyone else experienced this? Anyone replaced the shocks yet? Did you go with Edelbrock, Rancho, ProComp, other?

I read a forum that was titled "don't waste your time with procomp shocks" or something of that sort. So I guess they are out for me. I think I will go with the edelbrock IAS shocks. Ian has them in his EB Expedition, get ahold of him for questions, I think I will as well. As for Rancho, I can get them locally but I don't know if I will go that route, I have not heard too much about them.

I have had the Edelbrock shocks for a couple of months now. They dramatically improve highway cornering and braking. They are comfortable over rough surfaces and unpaved roads. I have only gone off road a couple of times with them, slow rock crawling type of surface, and they were fine.
I'm glad I bought them, I got them at CarParts.com with one of their 25% off coupons. Otherwise they are quite expensive.

docker,

I was told by Roger (f150online store) when I asked for a price on them, that Edelbrock didn't make them for the SCrew yet... I have an email in with Edelbrock asking them when they will have them. What did you put on your truck?

The part numbers were from Edelbrock and were 3351 and 3451.
They seem to fit and work fine. I'm not sure why you have the information that you were given.

Supercrew...Docker is correct...with a hell of a lot wait time on hold...I finally spoke to a Edelbrock tech...
The part for the front is #3351
the rear # 3451

Just to clear up any confusion, technally they have not been available until very recently.
I say technically, because these parts have always existed..

Previously, 97-00 fronts were part # 3350 or 3450.
Rears were...3351 or 3451
Perhaps it wasn't until just recently that they have come to market these two different "REAR" #### as the correct setup for the 01 SC.

PS: these are the ones I have ordered for my Crew.
