Thumbs up yeah this should be in appearnce prods but hell...

I just bought some of that Zaino Brother's Wax/polish products, and man oh man, that stuff rules.

I did the clay bar on my black truck, and as nervous as I was, it was pretty easy. It did pick up a lot of crap out of the paint, and made it smoothe as glass. I then washed it down with clear water to remove the soap film from the claybar process. After that I applied the polish lok, and the Z5 polish (better at removing swirls and small scratches) It did it's job. I've never seen my truck look so good! It looks better now than when I picked it up!

I have yet to put a coat of Z2 (better optics) on it, which I'll probably do today or 2morrow. I just had to post here and say that this stuff is worth it's salt and worthy of our perty trucks.

braboin....Zaino is good stuff, 90% of the guys on Corvetteforum.com use it and love it.
Last week when I had a problem with what is now my previous truck, I phoned Zaino Bros and left a message for Sal Zaino (the owner) to call me, hoping to get his opinion on the problem. Sure enough, Sal phoned within the hour and spent about 20 minutes on the phone with me. I've yet to place an order with Zaino, but it will happen very soon! While on this subject, many thanks to F150online member Waxman for his help too. I went to the dealer armed with good information which helped tremendously.

Zach,

I also live in Dallas and was wondering were you can buy the Zaino products?

Hi Jeff, welcome to F150online! I'm going to place my order with them directly. You can reach them via their web site for contact information.

How many days, I mean hours did it take you to do all that on the beast?

I spent 2 hours tonight just washing the thing and cleaning the inside. It tries to kill me everytime I wash it. Once again, I slipped off the wet nerf bars and bashed my leg and knee into the side of the bar. I need a stepladder to reach the center of the window and hood.

If it doesn't start to play nice, it's going to stay in "piggy" mode more often......

Zach, your truck looks great!

Thumbs up

Used ZAINO on my Z28 and T/A. Make sure you pick up some Z6. It was my favorite ZAINO product. Very easy to use also.

Thanks Femseadoo! And for what it's worth, I do use an A-frame ladder to gain access to the roof of my truck during the wash process.

Cool

I started the clay bar on my truck around 3:30pm, and finished wiping off the wax around 6-6:30. I was tired but man, I couldn't walk away from my truck! I just sat there like a dummy in the parking lot staring at my truck....
