Question high pitch sounds

hey guys,,, has anyone experianced a high pitched howl, like a wind whine, when moving from a stop to about 30 mph, sounds like a window is open a crack (its not) but goes away while running a regular speeds. my super crew has no moon roof, i thought it was the transmission so i opened the window any of course it did not make the noise.. could it be weather stripping on the drivers door or window.. does anyone remember a previous post or have experianced this same stuff???

Check undercarriage for misplaced wife. They sometimes get stuck under there when you pull into the garage too quickly. Recommend you move the washer/dryer to the other side of the garage. This should alleviate the problem in future.

<grin> C'mon, Nick!! That's not a "dealer" answer. The dealer would say:
"Sorry. We can't duplicate the problem"
(Therefore the problem doesn't exist!)

No guys, you're both wrong....The dealer would say, "Gee, I've never heard of this problem before. Let me call a Ford Engineer to see what he says......"

Hey Sundog, why the hell would you want to give up valuable garage space to a washer and dryer! Where do you keep your bass boat, dirt bike and 4 wheeler? The visual kept me laughing for 5 minutes though.

I have a wind whistle in my S. crew. I am going to tape off one door at a time and drive to see where whistle is, then after that I am going to shove the weather stripping up my service manager's *** and ask if he can "find the problem".
