After reading a few messages about owners recieving the wrong radiators and shocks I became a little concerned. After looking under the hood, sure enough I have the wrong radiator to. I then started looking at the shocks, I wrote the s'n # down and drove to the Ford dealer. The parts dep. could not help me w/ the part # that should be on the truck, so I went out to the lot. I could not find a 4x4 supercrew, but found a 2x2 w/ tow package. The # wasYL34-18080-BB. I then found a 4x4 supercab w/ tow package and that #was F75A-18080-AGA. My # are YL34-18080-DB.
All these different#, and I don't even know what shocks are supposed to be on a 4x4 class 3 tow group.... What are your shock #'s?

 

The tow package shocks are supposed to have a larger diameter piston. I'm not sure about the measurements but you can go to www.fordtraining.com and look it up. I'm not sure how you would measure them on the truck because they have a plastic dust boot around the piston but...

Let us know what you find... I am very interested.

Our trucks have the same shocks as the Expedition. That's why they are different than a SuperCab. Someone posted earlier about rear anti-sway bars from other F150's not bolting up to SCrews because of this.
