The part number is XL3Z-14A099-FA, description "Shield-Wire", price $26.59 + tax. Its is not a warranty part as was not included on SuperCrews, nor Expeditions. Decide if you want it? I did. Snaps on.

I told my salesman that the part was omitted from my truck (thanks to this message board) and no problems he replaced it under warranty.

Question

In reference to the above pic, does anyone know if that exposed terminal can be used to power an auxiliary fuse box, or should a wire be run from the battery?

I took this info, along with the radiator info to my dealer (several times). They said that Ford stopped putting that cover there a few years back, and it wouldn't fit my truck anyway. They won't do anything about the radiator until Ford contacts them; so, now I' sure that they think, "oh, here comes that neurotic woman with the truck again", everytime they see me coming.

You're getting the runaround. They ordered the wiring cover the day I went to pick up the truck. I showed them the picture from the thread above and said I wanted it. They said you really don't need it, I said, do you want to loose a sale of $30,000 + for a $25.00 piece of plastic?...The cover was there a week later. It snaps in and does fit.

Also got a call from Dan Wiebold Ford dealership today (Dan himself)saying my new 2.02" radiator was in and when did I want to schedule to have mine replaced? Next Tuesday is when I go in. I'm a happy camper. Started 3/5 when truck arrived, ended today.
