Red face Have you guys had this problem?

I was wonderin if any of you guys have had this problem. On my way to work this morning i was passing a car, and after 500 miles this was the first time i really had to get on it. So i gave her (5.4) everything and the pedal started to vibrate real bad. I wasn't going but like 45 or so, and once i left off a little it stopped. I don't understand, have any of you had this problem?

Mine does it sometimes under hard acceleration. The pedal vibrates like
crazy.

Let us know what they say/find.

If they say "cannot replicate", or say that they just "reprogrammed" the tranny computer, tell them that's exactly what my dealer said. When the truck was subsequently brought back to said dealer on the back of a flatbed, I asked if they then thought they could duplicate the problem.

My 5.4 does it too. Have almost 6k on it now and it has improved some. Our '97 5.4 did not do it however. Just make sure the service dept notes it at least and keep the copy. Now get on the throttle regularly. If you don't move it up and down the rpms for at least short blasts the engine will settle in better.

Do a search seems like this problem was addressed here before and the correction may have been to move the throttle cable to stop the pedal vibrations
