Picked up the truck on 08/20/00 with 5 miles and a full tank; in 2000 - H/L: 17.35/12.31, average 14.13. So far this year - H/L: 14.42/11.73, average 12.78. The low figures cannot be blamed on the truck - it is "operator timing and head space" - if I would keep my foot out of it I would get better gas mileage . . . !

I get 15 pulling a utility trailer with one 4 wheeler, two adults, 4 kids, and a ton of luggage at 65 mph. I get 15 empty with a mix of city and highway. And I get 15 empty on the highway at 75 mph. Go figure, 15 no matter what I do.

I have over 12k miles on my SCrew - average MPG for all those miles is 15.4. I probably do 60/40 HWY/City driving overall.

Highest mpg was 18.97 on a recent all hwy trip from L.A. to San Diego.

Lowest MPG was 12.4 driving in stop n go L.A. traffic last January
