Who ordered and still waiting???
I't been 3 weeks since I ordered my Super Crew and it's still listed as "clean and unscheduled". Anybody else having a the same problem?
Also, anyone know how long the build process is? I mean once production begins on my truck, how long will it take to complete?

At the risk of sounding brash - "you ain't suffered enough yet, son"
After researching every detail of what my Supercrew was to have on it for a few months at least, shortened thanks to help from this board, I decided to take the leap and order my Screw Lariat on December 16, 2000. I plopped down my $500 and said, "Build it!"
After the second week I started calling the VOPC number almost daily. The snow was coming down in feet, it was cold and nasty, and I was dreaming of those heated seats I ordered and how nice they would feel on my impatient buttocks. Days, weeks, a month or more and the sickening, recorded response I had dialed in for so long to hear kept repeating to my bitter disappointment, "As of March 6th, your order is clean and unscheduled."
That was it. I had been to the dealer at least a dozen times asking what was wrong - he just shrugged his shoulders and said it was out of his hands. He offered to do a vehicle search for my rig specs and by then I had waited long enough. I took the matter into my own hands and started searching each individual dealership over the internet, one at a time, download after download, hour after hour, day after day, until finally I found one very very close. At this point I was willing to jump on it - sure, it didn't have the heated seats and some ugly cab steps but I could live with that. I called the dealer the next day and he told me it had just been sold the day before. The car had only been on the lot about a week. I said thank you and hung up the phone. Just then, maybe out of my tendency for punishment, I called the VOPC number to hear my "clean and unscheduled girlfriend" one more time.....I dropped the phone, did I just hear, what?, no...can't be...I press repeat and sure as hell....in clear and unbroken recorded english, "YOUR ORDER IS SCHEDULED TO BE BUILT THE WEEK OF MARCH 26".
That was a Saturday, the following Monday I get a call from the dealership that had my truck but told me it was sold not 48 hours before. He said, "well, it turns out the guy wanted black, not beige, looks like the truck is yours for invoice."
What to do now? Think - a bird in the hand....hmmmm, well, er, ummm.
Final decision - I'm waiting for my order. I waited three months I can wait three to four more weeks. Sure, I'll have nice heated leather seats in the warm April sunshine but you cannot say it isn't mine and I didn't earn it.
So, what were you saying about three weeks...?

I have been waiting since mid Feb. I get the same "clean and unscheduled" spiel when I call VOPC. I know I have not "suffered enough" but it still doesn't stop me from getting my hopes up each time I dial that number. By the way, the $500 rebate is scheduled to end on April 2nd. Does anyone know if Ford will extend this? What about those of us who placed an order before hand? Will we still get the rebate?
I know I haven't suffered that much but I failed to mention that my dealer tried to "locate" a truck for me and we found 2 very close to what I wanted. The other dealer agreed to a swap but 2 weeks later it still had not taken place as the other dealer couldn't decide what they wanted in trade. Then the day before the drive was to make the 2 hour trip to pick it up, the other dealer sold it...
That really hurt!!! Total time so far now is about 6 weeks but only 3 on order.

Sorry to hear about those still unscheduled. It's a case of ordering from a dealer with a low quota/priority.
The current incentive that ends April 2 is only for vehicles on dealers lots by that time. When it was ordered makes no difference. It's my opinion the incentives will be continued since sales are continuing to decline with the economy. (I hate being wrong

I ordered mine the first week in January and it was shipped to my dealer on Febuary 23. The dealer told me 6 to 8 weeks, and it was here on the 6th week. But since I live in central Nebraska, and they make them in Kansas City, they didnt have far to ship it.

What is this number you dial, What do you do. I tried a number I found on this board once to check on mine. They told me if I wasn't a dealer they couldn't talk to me. I only ordered my HD special 3/1 but already I'm dying here. I've got to sell my Dodge but I don't know when I should start putting it up. My luck I'll sell it quick and be riding my bike in the rain to get to work.

VOPC says that as of March 15th my vechile has be "serialize" and is awaiting scheduling.
That's got to be better than the "clean and unscheduled" message when I called yesterday but what does it really mean? Any ideas?

I emailed my dealer and had them look up my order to see if I now had a VIN#. I do so it's one step closer now anyway! Still no build date though.

Still waiting... placed the order almost FOUR months ago. I think the order will get pulled this week. My dealer has low allocation, but I knew this going in. It's worth it waiting for the deal I'm gettin. Once the order is pulled, it should be about 8-10 weeks for the truck to hit the dealership. Sigh. 2 more months!
VOPC now says my truck is slated to be built the week of April 2nd. Not sure how long it will take to get the great wet Pacific NW.
Any ideas??? The dealer won't guess because "things are taking longer than normal right now".

TOMMORROW WILL BE 2 WEEKS NO ANYTHING STOPPPED BY THE DEALER TO SEE IF HE HAD A COPY OF THE "DORA" HE SAID HE DIDN'T GET IT BACK YET??? THEN AGAIN THE SUFFERING DID'NT START YET MY ORDER WENT IN 3-5
Ordered mine 3/1, got my DORA like 2 days later. Still no born on date or VIN though. By the looks of others, might have it the end of this week. Probably will be a end of April delivery. It better be worth it.
