Nice looking color combo, I'm sure it looks different up close and personal ...This is the only picture that came though on my email.

That is a nice combo. I still prefer green but it's a better color than the Chestnut.

Post Have blue king ranch pic -- now what?

I stopped by a dealer that had a blue king ranch. It had everything on it I wanted. Just one fatal flaw -- it was sold. Anyway, I took some photos of it and have them available for email. I don't know how to post pictures here on the board or I would, or would be more than happy to email them to anyone who can post them.

Well, if only one picture came through I'm glad it was that one. That is the most true-to-life photo. The color in person is a tad darker, but only just. I'm sold. Now I just have to find if there is some dealer who has one or is willing to order one at a reasonable price (preferably in west central Florida, but anywhere in the southeast US would do).... The dealer I was at was a little cagy on the price but said they don't sell many King Ranches so they make some money on them. "We don't sell these at $100 over invoice!" Actually I don't expect a deal that good, but if I could find $500 over I'd be a happy camper. Any suggestions welcomed :-).

In reality, its time to make a list of the options I want (short list since so much is standard on a KR) and email it to every dealer within 200 miles (and any suggestions I get!) to see if they either have one or will order it for a decent price.

Wish me luck!

Cool

Noclissa: it's called an opinion.

Chestnut isn't an awful color I just wouldn't buy my truck in that color, that's all. It's a personal choice.

The KR is a great truck no matter what color.
