I keep reading about Gen I, II, and III seats?? I bought my 01 supercrew off the lot and no one ever said anything about the seats?? I have leather and the driver seat is powered!! It's the 60/40 bench and the seat belts seem to be molded into the seat, and yes, it does have a head rest. What is the difference in the 3 seats and which do I have??

 

If your rear seats have headrests, then you have the Gen III. If not, then it's either Gen I or II.

 

I bought my Screw in December and I love it! But I do not have the headrests for the rear seats. Does anyone know if Ford will retorfit the headrests to the Gen I or II seats? I saw on the NHTSA site that there were several complaints and it seems like the reason for making this change was a pure safety concern. Look forward to hearing from someone.
