I guess this answers that guys question from the other day: "Has anyone lowered a SuperCrew?"

I assume the first truck is yours? Not bad lookin', even though I'm not a fan of Low Riders.

Click on the link below the pics. It's not mine...it was done with photoshop to see what a SuperCrew Lightning would look like.

Hey BlueFlareside,
Great job with Photoshop. I really wish Ford would consider a Lightning SCrew in the future. However, I know all the current Lightning owners would throw one huge hissy fit over that prospect. I love those Lightnings, but man the owners are real fanatics about their trucks.

Cool

Thanks but I just found the pictures I did not create them. A guy named LeakyLightning from F150World made them.

I know what you mean about Lightning owners. They do not seem to want anyone to make their "regular" truck even look similar to theirs. I do have to agree that it is pretty stupid to put Lightning badges on a regular F-150 because people will kill it in a race and then brag to their friends that they smoked a Lightning. I do think the SuperCrew picture looks great!

I posted these same pictures in the Lightning forum and did not get a very favorable response. One guy liked the lowering of the SCrew but that was about it.

I know how they feel. I saw a Taurus (reg old POS, not a SHO) yesterday with a chrome exhaust tip (single exhaust) a SVT badge and Cobras on the side. I see fake Mustang Cobras all the time ( www.fakesnake.com ). Doesn't really bother me. The L owners just need to take a big pill and understand imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Hey, Python! Excellent looking ride, bud. Tell me a little about your experience with lowering your SCRew. I'm getting ready to lower mine in the near future. What parts did you use? Anything you'd do differently in hindsight? How much was the ride affected, or is it pretty close to the "comfy-ness" of stock? (the only thing wifey cares about). Any alignment problems?

Thanks, I had a Shop here in Las Vegas do the work. Bell Tech 3" 4" kit was used. You do have to have an alignment done after. The ride is so good and smooth. I drive the truck hard and no problems so far. My wife had the same concerns but after driving perfered the better handling and overall appearance. Waiting on some swaybars from Hellwig to lose the body roll in tight turns.

The truck takes on a whole new driving experience without sacrificing ride quality.
Good luck and post some pic's after your done!
