Red face A.R.E. LS II Hard Lid -- Price

Went to the "local" ARE dealer and they quoted a price of $695 for an installed LSII. This seems a little high to me.

If you've got one what did you pay for it?

How good is the color match?

Deep Wedgewood Blue/Medium Graphite
5.4L V8, 3.55 LS, Tow Package,
Rear Slider, Cab Steps,

Wanted: Hard Lid

[/B][/QUOTE]The local(only one on Long Island) quoted me an installed price of $799, but I have seen others on this board claiming to get them in the $650-$675 range. BTW, there is a $20 off coupon on the ARE website.

Re: A.R.E.
I paid $ 709.00 with installation - the color match is perfect (Highland Green). Even the Ford dealer could not get over the perfect fit and match.

They must be more expensive the farther west you go. Was quoted $850 (+tax and install) in Tucson and Phoenix. Ordered mine 3/9, should be here in about 2 weeks.
Why are they cheaper in the East ?

The dealer is in Frederick, MD. And, he looked it up in the book and showed me the price in the book.

I guess that I'll have to give some serious thought to purchasing from them.

Got mine for just over $600 last year at my local Ziebart dealer. Got one of the first ones that ARE made. Dunno if the price has changed since then or not.

Attn: Long Island Screwdriver
That was one of the many reasons I left L.I. (Oceanside)! Prices are better, Do not have to learn another language and people are a lot friendlier. lol
I paid locally with installation $ 700.00 and the job was very well done.
Are you getting another Northeastern??? I had enough of those while I lived there, since I lived near the ocean.

I'm gonna buy one on Monday. They are $729 here in Minneapolis. They are offering a "Sportsman Show" special you can choose either a Carpeted Lined Top or Keyless Entry.

They say the keyless entry uses the current fob for my truck, I may go that way. All opinions are welcome on the above (Before Monday ofcourse).

Joe

BAR4,

I recently emailed ARE from their website asking for MSRP, so that I could shop around for a deal.

Here is what I got:
MSRP - $759
Includes painted to specified paint code.

Options:
Fabric Interior - $79
Battery Light - $10
Clothes Rod - $20
Sport Wing - $279
Sport Wing w/36" LED Light - $359
Nomadic Sport Rack - $269
Remote Locks - $149
Interior Lock Shroud - $29

I have not called around to any local dealers to ask for prices yet.

Who was the dealer in Fredrick that you talked to? Right now, that price does not sound too bad..
