Does anyone in this group use clear headlight cover to protect against rocks and stuff?

My wife has glass lenses on her VW and light replacement is $180 so I bought her some headlight covers. I thought I might do the same for my new SCrew. I've seen some funky Euro types and blacked out ones for sale online but none that are clear and done specifically for protection.

they make clear ones, I had a set at one time, dont know where they went off too. I also have some of those "funky euro" lookin ones brand new in the box out in the garage if anyone is interested, I'll be puttin them on Ebay.

think I got the clear ones from Summit by the way..

I just received something in the mail about 3M BodyGard clear plastic protection... has anyone used this product .... it's advertized as economical, headlamp protection???
