Black vs. Chrome
Hey guys and gals need some advice. I have a black supercrew with a beige two-tone bottom, what would look better the chrome brush guard and nerf bars, or the black ones. I'm scared to death, because i have no idea which one to get, if you have previous experiences with either of the two, or if you have a picture i would appreciate it. Thanks ahead of time.

Don't be scared to death...it is an excrutiating decision, I know, but one you will learn to live with either way.
You see, I have the same problem. Of course my truck is not built yet so I am still in the dream phase.
My screw is Az. Beige and I was thinking that the black nerf bars would look good, but!...... I drive in a lot of mud and dirt on construction sites so my thought was that chrome would hide the dirt better and look a little more street-like. I still have not decided but I am leaning chrome for nerf bars. I really think the black will just show too much dirt.
Black is a hell of a lot cheaper though.....

A clean waxed black truck with Chrome or polished Stainless accessories looks pretty darn good. However the black nerf's under the beige may also look good. A tuff choice. I had a dark green Tahoe that Had a somewhat monotone scheme with polished wheels, It looked Good! I think My "BIG RED" will look good with the Shiny Stuff.

In my opinion chrome looks better on dark colors. The only problem w/ it is that it's typically twice the price.

I agree chrome ABSOLUTELY look better on dark colors. I saw someone post saying they think a white truck looks the best with chrome bars?!?! I totally disagree with that statement. I have DK Highland Green and am planning on the chromed stainless Westins.
