Question Culture Shock

Hey All,

I've have my new truck almost a week now and I got a problem. My big *** is gonna ruin the seat. I don't know the proper way to exit my truck (my old car was a small two door hatchback).

What's the proper way to get down using the cab steps? I have been just sliding out using the softness of the leather.

Thanks in advance for all replies,
Joe

Hey jnb412...

Six months and my big *** has already ruined the seat! Seriously, the cloth captains chairs on some of the early Screws weren't very well made and they began to give way within about 3-6 months. Mine is like that.

I recently went to the local upholstery shop that my dealer uses and they told me that its an easy fix. Incidently, while I was there, the owner asked me if I used my steps to get in and out or if I just slid {my big ***} out over the edge of the seat. I wonder why she would ask that? ))=

Getting in is fairly simple..Grab the hand support and lift up and over the seat. Getting out is a little more tricky. It's almost impossible with the way the seat has the raised sides not to smash them down a little when getting out unless you take it extra slow (which I do). With the leather seats, they will develop bad wrinkles in them if you just slide out all the time. I don't have steps or nerf bars but I take my right hand and grab the hand support and lift up and over putting one leg down on the ground first (helps to have long legs or a cab step)...Just watch your head..I've cracked mine several times already. One other thing, when you are getting in and out of those leather seats, make sure you don't have your keys exposed so they can rip your nice leather...Just get in the habit of taking it slow and use a good leather cleaner/conditioner once a month or so.
