Delivered 6/19/00.
Generation I, and it sure would be nice to have those safe headrests in the back seat, so my passengers don't crack skull in the event that I get hit by a lousy NorCal tailgater.

Happy Gen 1 XLT (05/19/00, no wonder it seems to like Friday's best!).
Got it from the dealers lot on 1/6/01. I think it is kind of funny that they charge you $340 for the 17" tires, but throw in the 17" rims for no charge!
Too bad the stock sound system is not a little better. Oh well, gives me something to do!

From reading the post here, I guess I have a Generation I. The manf. date on my truck shows to be 06-2000. The thing that gets me is that my truck has the auto headlights, the leather wrapped steering wheel and remote entry.(I dont know if these were just part of the Lariet package) Which ever one it is, I like it!

Gen.2, would of waited for 3 if I new of the change. But, I'm very happy with 2 and also have the change in oil - 5-20W, notice in manual and on the filler cap..
