Talking Am I Dreaming?

On 1/20/01 I ordered a Screw XLT w/ 5.4L and some options.

Today I called the dealer to inquire about the status of my order and was told that the vehicle is built and will be ariving withinn the next two to three weeks. I asked for the VIN and got the last digits from the sales rep. I've tried calling the VOPC to confirm this informaiton and was connected to the deaf voice processing system.

Can this be true?

When I put my order in I was told that it would be six to eight weeks and if things go right it'll only be four weeks.

My VIN indicates that the Screw was built in Norfolk, VA, 200 miles down the road, and I live in Wash., D.C. area.

Sounds like good news. But if they are building them in Norfolk that is something new. Should be Kansas City. Well, best of luck.....

Unhappy

I was dreaming. I found out today when I stopped by the dealer to get some info directly that the "new" sales manager dosen't know his a$$ from a hole in the ground.

I am locked-in to be built the week of 2/19.

And, it is being built out in KC.

Damn, I know the firts info was too good to be true.
