Question What is a good lift for 01 SuperCrew?

I am trying to decide on what lift kit would be best for my truck. I have considered the RCD 5" but I do not know if I want that much lift. Are there any good 3" lifts out there for the 2001 Ford Supercrew 4x4? Please let me know your opinion so I can decide what I am going to do with my truck.

Here is a link to some pictures of my 01 Screw with the RCD suspension. Do a search on my name to read my recent comments on how much I like the RCD.

Let me know if you have specific questions.

Ok, just a bout of ignorance... but what is the difference between a RCD lift and a Rancho lift? I never knew a lift kit was that different from others. Hey, I'm new to this!

Call RCD and talk to Paul, he can give you the scoop. AJV helped me make up my mind. Other factors were the black coating the suspension kit comes with rather than RED or Yellow or whatever. Another factor is this kit comes with Bilstein shocks, not an extra charge or added at the discression of whoever is selling the kit. I am running the stock Ford 17 5 spoke chrome rims with the stock 265/75/17 tires and it looks and rides excellent. The front settle quit a bit after the installation and alignment and the wheel well spacing looks great. I will be installing a 3 inch block to replace the stock 2 incher as I like the back of the truck up slightly. I just got back from a 1600 mile round trip in my Screw with the RCD lift and love it. About 700 miles I had a 4 wheeler in the bed and a 3500lb boat hitched to the back. Drove and rode excellent. I believe RCD supports the product too. One of the best outfits I've ever dealt with. And I'm not saying that because Paul sent me a cool RCD T shirt either.

I've just ordered a 4WD screw and would like to just lift the front an inch or two to kind of level it out. I haven't been able to find a lift kit that will do this. Do you know of anything? Thanks.

torsion bars should do the job.
just have someone adjust them or do it yourself.
