Thumbs up On its way!!!

My daily VOPC check finally bore fruit. (I've already discussed my continual need for information).
The latest status of my truck is Released from foreign assembly plant on 1/30/01.
Admittedly I don't understand the foreign thing, but I believe it means the completed truck is sitting somewhere waiting for a train.
In a related topic, I will use the delivery check list I found on Ford-Diesel, unless someone has a better suggestion. http://www.ford-diesel.com/faq/1999f...PrinterVer.htm

Brossman,

Guess you won the race this time.
Are you sure it says "Foreign Assembly"? That's odd. Nonetheless, Let me know how things go with picking up your new Screw.

I'll pray for smooth sailing on your side with the new Screw.

Red face

I've got the number: 1-800-962-3746
My dealer code and my last 8 for the VIN.

But, I can't seem to talk properly or punch in the numbers properly. Can somebody give me a clue as to how to do this. I don't really want to talk to one of the "analyst's".

Question

SeaMark,
I haven't got it yet, though it seems to be on its way
Yes, it is foreign, I don't understand it either, but that is what is says.
Does anyone have another Delivery check list applicable to the Screw?

brossman- Your next update should be "vehicle shipped via railway" followed by "vehicle at railhead". That should be followed shortly by "vehicle at selected destination". (it does sound like "foreign" but I convinced myself that someone was having a problem saying "Ford")
Good luck.....

Thumbs up

Thanks,
I believe what you tell me, but it sure does sound like foreign.
Thanks for the follow-on information, now I hope this is not one of those situation where the journey is better than the destination ... no way, what am I saying!
