Question Window Visors

After reading the post on the window visors, I have a question. I currently have the window visors that uses the tape to stick them on (to the paint). What would be the best way to remove them so that I do not damage the paint? After seeing the web site on the ones that go into the weather strip, I would like to get those, but I do not want to damage anything taking the other ones off. I have never had the visors that stick on and just want to be sure that I don't screw anything up. 2001 Supercrew, Lariet,4x4, 5.4l, 3.55LS

p.s. These were on the truck when I bought it, so they have been on for 4 to 6 months.

I was told by vent visor to remove a visor use fishing line to cut the tape from the molding. Use a sawing motion to get the tape loose. any glue left peels off fairly easily. I also would like to look at those nonstick visors also mine keep coming loose and rattle.good luck

Question

Will the fishing line method work on those 'lovely' dealer logos so indiscriminantly slapped on your ride? I tried to make a deal for 100 off the cost of the truck for each year I own it, for advertisement purposes. Didn't work.....:rolleyes

Cool

I got my dealer advertising off with a blow dryer the first week I had my truck. The 4X4 decals came off the second week!

PhillyRube,

Docker's right. Since it's cool out right now in your neck of the woods the blow dryer method would be best right now. I got mine off using the fingernail method in October.
