SuperCrew Recall
I recieved my recall today for a daytime running light resistor that tends to corrode, causing the daytime lights to stop working. I don't know if it would effect the other lights if it was just left. Anyone else recieve it yet?
Am I correct in that Canada requires lights to be on both in the day and night?
That could mean that this recall would be for Canadian Super Crews only, correct?
Just wondering.....

Here in the U S of A, our Supercrews do not have daytime running lights, so it's not an issue.
My '99 Grand Prix GTP has daytime running lights though, so some US vehicles have them, some do not.

"First On Race Day" I used to root for the Valvoline car and the Ford Credit/Quality Care car. Now I have to root for the Viagra car and the UPS car. What's the world coming to?

Yes, I believe you are right. It probably is a Canadian Super Crew only recall. Canada does require daytime running lights. The daytime lights are only the headlights and are less intense than night lights.
