Wow good timing (or bad) for me.....
Last night (New Years Eve) I got 406 miles on my new baby. i stop at a stop sign,I'm waiting, takin my time cause there's no one behind me, I'm gonna turn left -then a car approaches from my right to turn. It's icy out so I figure with my new truck I'll give him a wide space. I look in the mirrors all looks good... i back up about 2 feet BANG!!.... "WHAT THE Fu&# "
A guy in a Lincoln had pulled up right behind me and I never saw nuthin!! A 1 mph impact to his cheesy grill (which is attatched to everything else on the front of the car and I'm gonna be out maybe a grand. Luckily the guy is totally cool but the car is a lease due back in 2 mos. so I gotta deal with it. Needless to say I don't want to involve the insurance co.This type of device sounds real good if it works without annoying the Sh%$ out of you all the time. I was thinking about a mini video cam myself though this is worth a look.
