Post When will the Screw get a new look?

Just wondering when the F150 get a new look. I heard one time maybe around 2002 or 2003. This isnt going to stop me from buying one since I seem to change vehicles about every 2 years.

If I were to believe what I've read on BlueOval recently and elsewhere, 2003 looks like the changeover year with an early 2002 release, much like they did when the 97's were first released. Any guess is a good guess at this point though............

Oh puleeeeze! Can't we just enjoy our brand new, nothing-like-it-on-the-road, sweet looking rides, while they're still the newest SUV's and/or trucks around, for just a LITTLE while before someone starts bringing up the lament that someday they'll be old, faded and obsolete???!!!! GEEEEEEEEZZZZZ. And I thought *I* was the master of negativity !!!!

Most likely in 2003 when they start putting the new V6 diesel in the F-150. Think they'll have to change the front end.

Cool

Who cares if they change it! It will make ours more unique! I may not look as cool.
I love it. That's all that matters.
That's all I have to say about that!

98XLT -- you just can't help yourself, can you???????

Ok, now I get it. By your username, you don't *have* a beautiful, sexy, head-turning Screw that makes you warm and fuzzy inside every time you look at it, and makes you look at it A LOT. So you are trying to rain on the parade of us Screw owners who do. WELL IT WON'T WORK, BUDDY!! Show us all the concept vehicles you want. We know that we have the most awesome vehicles on the road. And you don't. :P

Illinois Screw -- thanks for your support.

HEHE!! I agree, the SCrew is very awesome! In fact, in the next month I will have one. I started this topic to see what others might know about future mods to the Screw.

Longtime: I'm glad you like your truck.

Is that why your username is Longtime, because you keep your vehicles a long time!! Or has it been a long time since you had a new one??

Wink

I'm with longtime on this one...I LOVE MY SCREW!!! I plan on keeping it about 20 years, and that's no joke! My last NEW vehicle lasted 14 years, and I gave it to my wife's cousin ... it's still on the road, I expect the Screw to well out live that!!!!
